CHAPTERS + COUNCILS + COMMUNITIES = NETWORKING GROUPS

Implementation Summary

1

Execute Networking Groups Agreement

Training cannot begin without a finalized agreement.

  • Establishes pricing structure
  • Allows agreement sharing within the chapter
  • Enables IFMA to list the networking group as an official training provider on ifma.org

2

Identify the Credential Strategy

  • Select targeted credential(s)
  • Offer informational webinars to drive buy-in
  • Poll members to assess interest and demand
  • Identify or secure an IQI (if instructor-led delivery is planned)

3

Schedule and Structure Training

Define:

  • Credential being offered
  • Audience (members only or inclusive of non-members)
  • Delivery model (in-person, virtual, or hybrid)
  • Hybrid starts with in-person and ends with virtual
  • IQI contracting
  • Location and logistics (if applicable)
  • Registration link creation and LMS setup

4

Host the Training

The networking group manages participant registration and payment collection.

  • Payment from participants should be collected by the chapter before the class begins
  • If chapter has failed to receive payment from a participant (but the chapter has paid IFMA for the licenses), chapter has the option of requesting IFMA to lock a participant’s account until the payment is received
  • Roster submitted to IFMA Account Manager
  • Account Manager issues invoice for credential licenses

5

Post-Delivery Support & Quality Assurance

For instructor-led formats:

  • Account Manager conducts follow-up with component and IQI
  • Identifies improvement opportunities
