FM was repeatedly described as a connector across functions:
- C-suite: Aligning circular economy goals with business strategy and ROI logic
- Finance & Procurement: Developing business cases and integrating circular clauses in contracts
- IT: Digitization, tracking assets and enabling data-driven decision-making
- HR & other functions: Embedding CE in onboarding, training and cultural change
Participants stressed that CE cannot be achieved by FM alone. It requires structured collaboration, shared accountability and continuous communication between functions.
